Our Story, From Ryan Truong, CEO of Phoenix Engage
Phoenix Engage was born from a belief that engagement can transform not only organizations but also communities. In 2013, while living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, founder Ryan Truong launched Asia Phoenix Events & Travel. With over a decade of experience in inbound tourism, conferences, and team building, he chose the golden phoenix as a symbol of resilience, renewal, and vision.
From organizing domestic conferences to partnering with Catalyst Global in 2017, the company quickly embraced global standards and innovative formats. By 2018, Phoenix teams were learning from international peers in South Africa, Europe, and Asia—introducing groundbreaking experiences such as Orchestrate! and hi-tech treasure hunts to the Vietnam market.
In 2025, the brand evolved into Phoenix Engage, headquartered in the United States with hubs across Asia and Europe. This transformation reflects our commitment to global growth while staying rooted in local expertise.
